What to do in and around Uvita: Whalewatching

Late December through late April the humpback whales from the norths migrate to the tropical waters of Central America
avoiding the cold winter. Late July through October the humpback whales from the southern hemisphere do the same migration.
During this migration the whales give birth to its calf in the calm waters of the Coronado bay
(Marino Ballena National Park, Drake Bay, Caņo Island). Different tour operator in the area (see list below) offer the following tours:
